The abundance of seaweed on the beach is an endless cycle of push and pull with the surrounding water. Each day the seaweed is pulled to the ocean, then pushed back to shore, with the pattern repeating infinitely. It always comes back to land but each time with a unique characteristic either by forming newly shaped indents in the sand or landing among various rocks and shells. With gradual transitions over time, the seaweed undergoes a transformation that becomes integral to its identity.
